This great egret poised in such an elegant posture was simply stunning. She seemed to stand out from other egrets that I have photographed.
There was something very special about her. I really couldn't put my finger on it; the only words that came to my mind in that moment were; a touch of class.
Yes, she had a touch of class about her and thus, I knew in that moment the title for this composition would be, " A Touch Of Class."
When creating this composition, my vision was to create a stunning black and white portrait.
During the processing stage of this creation, although she was stunning in black and white, there seemed to be something missing.
I had not yet conveyed the unique stature, that I had felt, during the creation process. She didn't seem to stand out. There needed to be an element that would resemble the touch of class that was so unique about her.
I went back and opted to keep some of the greenery in the background.
It seemed to add that extra element that made her stand out from the rest. And thus, my creation, " A Touch of Class." was complete.
