Description
Courtship at Dawn
One of my all-time favorite birds is The Great White Egret. The egrets are a wading bird that live in freshwater lakes and ponds, brackish water, estuaries, marshes and marine wetlands. During the breeding season, the great white egrets live in colonies building nests high in the trees.
We know great White Egrets for their graceful nature and beautiful displays of breeding plumage. The adults grow long feathery plumes on their backs, which they display during courtship. We can observe these stunning displays while they are preening their wings, shaking their bodies and/or doing a courtship dance.
Aside from the feathery plumes, their beaks change colors ranging from yellow-orange to black. The Loral skin surrounding their eyes changes from olive yellow to cobalt blue and their legs range in color from black to pink. They are simple stunning to observe.
This composition, composed at the dawn's early light, “Courtship at Dawn,” comes in a multitude of sizes and media formats to accommodate whatever your needs may be. It is suitable as a home decor or office wall print that will bring a sense of warmth and re-newness to any room. You may purchase this print as a poster, matted and framed wall art print, canvas art print, metal prints, tote bags, iPhone cover, etc.
Please note: The fine art America watermark will not appear on your purchased print.
