This fine art photography print, was captured in the golden hour of the day. This lovely white Great Egret, elegantly poised, while gracefully picking up each individual feather, pristinely preening it and gently placing it back on her backside was so incredibly mesmerizing.
Although, I have had the pleasure of witnessing moments like this many times, each time I stumble upon a new one, I always feel like I'm seeing it for the first time. These elegant white Great Egrets preening their feathers always takes my breath away.
Like sitting by a stream watching the water trickling over rocks, it always captures my full attention and draws me into the experience..
While capturing this beautiful white elegant egret whom looked as though she was completely immersed in a Zen Moment I realized that she had given me a gift.
I now now that I also was completely immersed in feelings of zen in that very moment, thus, the title for my creation born.
