Description
The iris is a spiritually symbolic flower named after The Greek Goddess, Iris. More traditionally known as The Goddess Rainbow, it is said that she traveled with the speed of light linking the sea to the sky and the heavens to the earth.
She was known to the Olympian Gods as a divine messenger. In Greek mythology, The Goddess, Iris was often portrayed as a gold winged goddess holding a pitcher full of nectar.
Like other three petal flowers, the iris is often seen as a trinity, symbolic of representing a three-way connection.
In this particular trinity it reprints a divine link between the realms of heaven and earth, psychic abilities and spiritual communication between spirit and the message recipient
.
While the yellow center of the iris represents, divine light; the deep purple color on the petals symbolizes, intuition and psychic awareness.
The next time you overlook a bed of irises, notice the feelings that arise within, call upon your intuition and psychic abilities, listen with awareness, feeling for presence and connections.
Being able to access and strengthen your intuitive abilities are essential in forming a clear connection between yourself and the Spirit world.
