I love being fully surrounded by nature, and this photography print series, “White-Tailed Deer Buck Smiling Pose By The Water's Edge,” is from one of those special places. Holyoke, Massachusetts, is home to the beautiful Ashley Reservoir, a perfect destination for nature lovers and wildlife photographers.

On each visit to the Ashley Reservoir, I’m constantly amazed by something extraordinary that never fails to leave me in awe. Today was one of those days. It was truly captivating to see this young white-tailed deer buck standing by the water’s edge, with the lush green foliage illuminated by sunlight.

This young deer had only one thing on its mind. It’s all about eating, eating, and eating some more. I stood and observed for a while. I observed him experimenting with his taste buds on anything that was green. He often reminded me of a giraffe, stretching to reach berries and vegetation on the higher branches. Even though he closely monitored my every move. He never lifted his white tail. All he was doing was relishing in the sun and enjoying the delicious vegetation.
