Out for a stroll in the beautiful flower beds of Grandmother’s Garden last summer. I came upon this beautiful bed of flowers, known as the common zinnias.
Looking through my camera viewfinder while setting up this composition, I felt as though I was overlooking a sea of wondrous beauty and was filled with feelings of optimism and joy!
Zinnia flowers are commonly seen as a flower of remembrance, often sent to a loved one that you haven’t seen for a while and/or as a going away present.
The yellow-colored zinnia symbolizes, hope and cheerfulness, thus came the title for this composition, “The Zinnia Sea of Remembrance.”
