Perched high atop a southern oak tree along the Hogeye Path in the Villages, FL was a juvenile owlet whom was partially camouflaged among dense green ferns and leaves on a tree. Its large yellow eyes attentively gaze toward its surroundings, with soft, downy feathers showing its young age.
He displayed attentiveness and appeared to react positively to conversation. His brother or sister was sleeping while their parents were close by.
