This Fine Art Composition was created in Orlando, Florida.

After observing a flock of flamingos, and admiring their silly little behaviors for quite sometime.

With their toothpick thin long legs, elongated necks and round little bodies, accompanied by their loud squawking voices chasing each other to and fro.

I decided that what I loved the most about these beautiful wading birds was how they could go from chasing one another all around with their loud squawking voices to a sudden hush as they snuggle their beaks in their fluffy feathery backside and close their eyes.

That is, aside from taking a little peek every now and then to see if I was still there.

In a moments notice it was siesta time. Yes you guessed it, the name for my creation was born, "Siesta Mingo."

My vision for Siesta Mingo was to capture the divine elegance that these beautiful birds display while they are taking their siesta's and what better way to capture elegance than in black and white.

This Fine Art Composition will bring a sense of harmony, warmth and simple elegance to any room.
