This Fine Art Photography Print, " Reflections of Peace", by Mary Lou Chmura, was taken at the Peace Pagoda in Leverett, MA.

The Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist temple which was built by volunteers in 1985. This monument was built to inspire peace and was designed to provide a focus for people from all walks of life to come, meditate and unite in peace.

The Pagoda is absolutely breathtaking, the landscape is surrounded by symbols of peace; from prayer flags blowing in the breeze, to stone piles (referred to, as Zen), dragon flies and ponds with lotus flowers and lily pads.

I was taken back as I starred into the pond with all the reflections of the surrounding area; I couldn't help to think of John Lennon and his lyrics, "all we are saying is give peace a chance." All the reflections in the water were in fact, "Reflections of Peace".
