It was a sunny spring day, late in the afternoon. I was out on the Fenney Nature Trail in The Villages, Florida.

I walked across this small iron foot bridge and was simply taking in all the elements of spring that surrounded me.

As you can see this beautiful iron bridge was surrounded by moss hanging from the surrounding trees and flowers in their early budding stages

I walked back and forth observing it from all angles. I finally found the perspective that I was looking for.

While capturing this beautiful bridge, although, I was not feeling weary or small and there were no tears in my eyes to be seen. I found myself continuously humming the tune of Simon and Garfunkel's' famous hit, “Bridge Over Troubled Waters and thus this was the name I chose to give this fine art composition.
