Often times when I am capturing a blossom a bee will come and land right in the middle of the blossom. I am always ecstatic when this happens as there is a certain amount of joy that these marvelous wonders bring to me.
Almost like Charlotte in Charlotte's Web when she greets Wilbur, with. “Salutations!”
Today this bee came with not only a greeting it triggered the remembrance of a quote from my favorite poet and spiritual philosopher, Mark Nepo. “The flower doesn’t dream of the bee, it blossoms and the bee comes.
I couldn't help to reflect on the deeply profound and moving words of this beautiful quote.
The more we are present to the moment, indulging our self by simply being, the more we are able to experience and appreciate our own unique sense of who we truly are.
For myself it's about feeling firmly rooted to the earth and experiencing the oneness with all the beauty that surrounds me.
On this particular day I remember feeling grateful for my gift of awareness as I experienced the feelings of warmth from the sun above along with the gentle whispers of the afternoon breeze.
The beautiful blossoms, the bees, the fragrant aromas of the lily of the valley that lined the front of the stone path. I remember feeling as though I was in sensory overload and felt high on life.
There were no thoughts of what might be next on my agenda for the day; nor was I reflecting on something that happened yesterday or the week before.
It was about being completely open, immersed in the present, allowing the universe to flow through me and trusting life as it was unfolding in front of me.
Like the blossom, in it's natural state, with no worries or dreams, just simply being, it teaches us what life is really about; what matters most.
To experience life from a place of being rather than doing.
When we are in these moments we are open to flow of the Universal life energy and all it's vibrations.
With wide open hearts we experience oneness, our radiance blossoms from the inside out; we shine and bloom.
And like the bee that comes so too will the attraction of many others into our life.
