Turtles are frequent visitors on the nature trails of Fenney in The Villages, Fl. Usually you will see a variety of different species lined up on a log. Today, however, I spotted this beautiful yellow-bellied slider momma turtle outstretched and sunning with her baby on her back.
In that moment I remember thinking, "this brings new meaning to the saying, “Baby on board.”
Later on when I was processing this image the creative side of me kicked in and enhanced the background, removing the intermingled brush to reflect the true beauty of this very special Momma and me...
